Hi Les,
I had a few "bits of metal" in 2014 & 2016 :) the chemicals(I am assuming Clopidagrel) is only for 6 months so not the end of the world.
If they want to reprogram you I would be worried :)
I am still going strong.
Funny story, a lovely nurse said take your pants off and lay on the table. When they stated doing the angiogram I said "when a lovely nurse said take you pants off and lay on the table this is not what I had in mind". I probably shouldn't have said it as the whole theater was in stitches.

Get well soon.

Bob

Most difficult is the first step to go out but if you overcome this desire to stay home, then the nature will recharge you. I made it a habit once every two or three weeks to go out in the open fields, being able to see the horizon makes wonders to your spirit.

Get well Les!

Excellent advice. I live in the countryside with some land. We're planting trees to make a woodland. Silver Birch, Beech, Oak, Elder, Alder plus a variety of flowering fruit trees. A large % of the project are still saplings. Which need constant watering given the recent weather. Long story short. Going into nature, be it a walk or doing something "real" like gardening (say) really does force a reconnect with our roots (pun intended) external troubles drift away. It's a "re-connect" / "re-charge" and very recuperative. This is sound advice Les (Trastikata)

Quote from: top204 on Jul 18, 2025, 09:24 AMWasn't the stent supposed to prevent a future stroke or rupture Ken? What went wrong, and are you OK now, because I know a rupture can and is a right B#s@*rd?

Thank you for asking.
The stent did not fail I had blood clots.
Things don't always work out as planned, fortunately I made a complete recovery. I was an outpatient for 5 years having regular MRI's and CAT scans. When I was discharged as an outpatient, the lady that was handling my discharge papers teared up when she read them, she wished me all the best. I guess hospital staff see a lot of bad outcomes, it must be quite depressing.

Pepe I wish you a speedy recovery. I guess you will be taking thyroxin for the rest of your life. I also take daily thyroxin as do many older adults.

Thank you so much,ken_k.

Ken and Pepe,
We have never met but an invisible bond keeps us connected. We smile and say encore when we read about achievements. Maybe we feel childishly let down when a small triumph is not appreciated. And we feel sad when a friend is unwell..

We all are human beings under the same blue sky.

Its late afternoon now in Calcutta and it's drizzling. The monsoon is in the air and it's lush green all around.

Stay well and keep smiling.

Hello Les, get well soon. 👍

Are you sure it was a heart attack ?  Some poisons have exactly the same symptoms.  Beware of the poisons used on crops off late.
As for the heart, invest in cayenne pepper, just don't try to heal yourself in one sitting and avoid the capsules. Do your own research and avoid AI.
Btw, I got poisoned and was also told it is a heart attack.  I don't have heart problems.  The amount of illnesses here off late is un be lievable and getting an operation for anything seems a given.  I stay as far away from any medical treatment there is as I can.
Good luck, and we still need you.

Hi Fanie,
The fact they want to put "a bit of metal" in would suggest they have found a blockage so hardly likely to be poison. Also they do 2 blood tests 12 hours apart to look for markers. I cannot comment on the medical care there but I have found over here once you get past the gestapo (GP receptionist and the GP) and actually get to the specialist it is really good over here.
I have a bit of history on this, almost got a season ticket :) Also if you are not squeemish you can actually watch the whole thing on the screens as they work.

Another funny moment when I had my second lot, the scanner pressed against my chest (I was expecting it to back off). I asked if it should be doing that, the radiographer said very politely "I am very sorry sir but there is a lot more body mass to get through than there should be". I laughed and said that was the politest way I have heard "Lose some weight you fat git".

I'm with you Bob, having an Angiogram probably saved my life. It found 2 almost completely blocked arteries. Sometimes all it takes is a stent at the time and away you go, a night or two in hospital and you go home with a still good ticker.

Mine was open heart surgery and much more serious but better than the alternative. And I went home with a good ticker. Luckier than my wonderful Dad who died with a heart attack because bypass surgery wasn't available in those days.

The hospital staff were wonderful and quick action saved me. Afterwards I did appreciate the small pillow that only people with a 'zipper' will know what I mean.

I remember while waiting for my bypass someone shouting "you didn't tell me about sneezing", they didn't tell me either, I soon found out.

In case anyone who hasn't had a bypass etc (probably most), after the op if you cough or sneeze the pain on your chest where it has been wired back up is excruciating so they give you a small pillow to press against your chest to try to help.

BTW Les,
This is the full blown open up job, if you do have a stent (bit of metal) it is really straight forward and actually quite interesting how they do it. Lots of lovely nurses looking after you.

A stent is usually inserted where a narrowing of an artery exist to force the artery open so enough blood and oxygen can reach the heart.  A further problem is that the arteries become thick and stiff, and brittle.  So one day you raise your arms to take the cookie jar off the shelf, the artery bends, cracks and swells a bubble to the outside and the victim have a heart attack.
Again, using the right supplements resolves all these problems.  I suggested using cayenne pepper.  The results are slower to implement ie takes longer to affect than the medical solutions, but are longer lasting.  It makes the arteries soft and supple again and keep the arteries open as well.  Read up on it.
It is also suggested that placing cayenne pepper under your tongue when having a heart attack not only stops the heart attack, but repairs the perceived following damage.
With age these are becoming a larger risk, and demands a change in lifestyle if you develop a problem.  And btw, meat fat does not make you fat, if this happens there is another problem.  The brain needs the fat or the essential meat proteins cannot be absorbed, and the brain needs fat to function properly.

As for "hospitals" here I can only say they are septic dying institutions.  If I tell you, you won't believe it.  I was there two days and very quickly realized this is no place one must be.  And if a specialist tells you arteries in you heart died then you know you are confronted with a sh1thead who wants to scare you.
Not all doctors are bad, but not even the good ones knows what are put in medicines or foods nowadays.

It's worth considering the use of DMSO as I posted previously. It's useful for a large number of conditions inlcuding heart problems.

Hi,
I think if I ever need another one I will stick to having a stent rather than Dr Google.

DMSO is well know.  Especially functional when used in conjunction with other medications - Prof Pieter (my brother).  I don't know much but I know people who does.
He gave this link  www.Biosil.co.za

Jewgle is probably the worst place to do any research from because it sensors everything to promote the zionist communist western agenda.  There are other search engines that works well, but do cross research when you do.
Also a lot of stupidity pushed on jewtube, although a few still are there like Dr Eric Berg offers good health information.

Get well soon Les,

The lack of presence from my side on this forum is because of stress, anxiety and sometime I would say some depression. Lately, because of those mentioned three things, is like I am fed up of doing something, except work, which  induce more stress and anxiety at the moment.

Unfortunately, I do not listen to my better half, that is quit worrying for others to make them richer.  :-X
