Beautiful pictures Craig, and we now have a new addition to our family. An 8 week old kitten that needed a home, and we have named her "Abby". So we now have our 3 cats again.

What is his/her name Craig?

I have some lovely photos of our two cats (lovely Emmy who sadly passed away before christmas, and chloe) sleeping together and snuggled up on the corner of my desk, many years ago, and it is always good to know that a small being has so much confidence in you, and love. I'll have to dig them out and upload a few of them, because I have many, many, many of them. :-)

I actually have more photos of our girls (cats), than I do of my wife. :-)

Best regards
Les

Lol,

the kicker is when you carry a photo in your wallet of your significant other.

Your dog.

Dogs have masters, cats have servants.

What does the dog think:
- This big and powerful being feeds me, pet me, protects me ... he has to be a God !

What does the cat think:
- This big and powerful being feeds me, pet me, protects me ... I have to be a God !

Here's the little fellow in our house who knows that he is in charge! Rollo is his name.

Our cat will catch Rollo...

Previous neighbors had some rabbits, even the large ones was caught by the cats.
It was the wife's daily routine to scan the yard and place the victims back.

Once upon a time I witnessed a fight between a pet cat and a pet rabbit. The rabbit won with it's very strong back legs that gave the cat a good kicking.

Once upon a time we had 6 cats. Each had a story how we got them. The wife's brother went on holiday and left their fox terrier here.  The cats were gone the whole week.  Then the Friday the wife went shopping and the terrier as he demanded leaned out the window snarling at everything, until the wife swerved for these rubbish collectors with their carts in the road, and the dog flew out chipping a fang.

Very excited on their return, the terrier decided to take it out on a cat which to this point ran away, except I think the cats were already fed up with the state of things, and when the terrier charged one cat sitting under the boat, the cat did not run away.

If you ever heard car tires screeching long ends on the tar, it may not be car tires, it may be a dog put in it's place by a cat.  Just there and then the dog lost it's dominant status and all the cats returned into the house.  If you see the cat, was a very thin female.  You'd never expect that.

And btw, female cats kill rats, not the male cats.  Probably instinct because rats kill small kittens.

Sadly no Charlie  :(

This is our current cat. As you can see he's got some attitude.  The wife is quite careful around him.
He hasn't showed any interest in high-powered motorcycles yet, but I watch him.
He was left alone due to some unhappy circumstances and lived without people for some time before we inherited him .
Notice the notches in the ears, from fighting other cats.

500kmph Turbo Hayabusa update
Considering the Western political DISASTER we are in here, no wonder some lose perspective  ;)
Besides, I have one cat riding (we don't drive bikes here) with me and she doesn't allow me to ride so fast, it makes her head shake.
Not that I notice...

charliecoutas

Strewth, that's 310mph! You must have some long straight roads out there?

I have just had the "limiters" removed on my bike... ;D

That ZZR1400 is probably the only Kawasaki I will buy.  Beautiful, and cats like them too.
I had to use a calculator for this after asking the wife how old are we already now ? but I have now been biking for 51 years.  Not sure if one should be proud or cry.

Our roads in general are terrible.  There are lots of delivery scooters, one died a while back when he fell into a pothole.  Amazingly the pothole wasn't charged with racism and other the usual Sick African procedures.

I want to add - The old motorcycles you ride on top of them.  Much like a horse which makes you feel a lot more vulnerable especially at high speed.
These new motorcycles feel more like you sit in them and are more a part of the experience, you feel a lot more safe and stable.  It doesn't even feel fast, until you look at the speedometer, if you have time to do that.
