I was gifted 4 months of Gemini Pro licence and have been using it more and more.

An example being I was ordering PCB connector socket on LCSC and was trying to find the compatible wearable plugs. The data sheets for the connector do not list the compatible plugs so I turned to Gemini

"what is the associated plug part for this connector Ningbo Xinlaiya Elec. XY2500V-D-5.08-2P"

After a few seconds I get a reply (summarized)

"In summary, for a complete and functional connection, the XY2500V-D-5.08-2P male socket should be paired with the XY2500F-B-5.08-2P female plug. Other compatible plugs from the same XY2500F series with a 5.08mm pitch and two positions may also be suitable."

It saved me an hour at least searching.

Using more and more now for mundane stuff.

My opinion ... it is the next generation search engine, superior to past engines, however far from being close to any kind of intelligence.

I agree that it's not intelligent but very helpful. I can ask friends advice and they give worse answers so currently better than everyone I know.

When Microsoft AI was asked "Who developed Proton BASIC", I received what appeared to be an excellent response.

Proton BASIC, a compiler for programming microcontrollers, was developed by Les Johnson. He is also known for the Proton Development Suite, which includes the compiler. The ProtonIDE, a related development environment, was created by Dr. David Barker and distributed by Mecanique, with Crownhill Associates Limited having the right to distribute it, according to ProtonBasic.

When Microsoft AI was asked "What is Positron BASIC" the response was far more detailed and included the following comment:  "AI responses may include mistakes."

I have tried various AI advice and it turned out false and failures.  My opinion is that only certain advice is acceptable because it suits the world control order - in the same way a doctor will always prescribe a certain medicine to TREAT an ailment even though there is a well known natural CURE for it.

I also find it irritating that it is pressed down one's throat all the time, consistently done on youtube for instance.

Many facts are also falsified.
