Comparator Module in 18F27K42

I am trying to set up the comparator module to compare an input voltage with the internal voltage reference.

In the manual Fig 38-2 shows the FVR_Buffer2 connected to the input selection registers of the Comparator as does the Voltage Reference block diagram (Fig 34-1).
However, FVR Control Register (Table 34.3) refers to FVR Buffer 1 as being the Comparator Gain selection  bits.  Is this simply a typo in the register descriptions in Table 34-1.

It may depending on which version of the datasheet you're looking at... older ones talked about an "ADC buffer" and a "comparator buffer". Here's the latest (DS40001919F) where it shows the CDAFVR[1:0] FVR Buffer 2 Gain Selection bits in FVRCON

That makes  more sense - I will download the latest version.
