does anyone knows the manufacturer symbol or where I can find data for this diode please?

I have tried searching by UG47 and UG 47 but did not find anything and I don't recognise manufacturer symbol

Wimax

Hi,

I'm not sure, but It maybe an US1G Ultrafast Rectifier https://www.vishay.com/docs/88768/us1_test_dcicons.pdf from Vishay.

Thanks everyone.  I now know that the makers symbol is for General Semi which was taken over by Vishay in 2001.

The device marking UG refers to various transient suppressor diodes but not necessarily Vishay.  It could be either uni-direction or bi-direction.

The bar at one end of the device shows that it is unilateral and so far I have found devices with the UG code of 13 or 350 volts

Doesn't look a TVS diode to me, please refer to Wimax's and my posts.

Please note the manufacture's symbol, clearly Vishay, not Bourns.
