Hi all,
Is Positron or Proton are the same language or name change. I just hope there is a consistent evolution of the Proton I know for many years. Is someone can clarify to me the differences if any?

As I understand things, it's just a name change to complete the break with Crownhill. When it gets to be available in downloads you can be sure it's just part of the continuing development of Proton.

Exactly John. A name change.

In the new manuals I am currently updating, I have the text:
QuoteThe Positron8 BASIC compiler, formerly known as the Proton Compiler, was written with simplicity and flexibility in mind.

Thank you for the reply and now I'm feeling more confident again about the product. I like the name positron it sounds like the antimatter of the electron and will be annealing the proton charge with a lot of releases of energy and turning the proton into a neutron. Not sure if my nuclear physic is right there?

Regards,
