I think it may become messy if a thread gets lengthy in the Code Examples section. So it should be allowed to post the code and exclude any reply. As I just seen the discussion has developed two similar threads for the single pin driven LCD.
The discussion should start in another section and welcoming the reference to code posted in the Code Examples section.

What keytapper was referring to is a post I did in the Wiki > LCD Text.

As originally Les made an example in the forum area, not Wiki, I thought to `shift' his work to the Wiki area so it is not lost in long replies.

However now I see that Les came out with v2 of same code and posted in the Wiki area. I will delete my original thread so there will be no confusion.
