Hmmmmm in the datasheet: The I2C bus on the VL53L1X has a maximum speed of 400 kbits/s
and uses a device address of 0x52.
In de SSD1306 library the busspeed is set to 1000. Perhaps is that an issue/

I lowered the speed to 400 in the library before trying it,thanks for answering.
