I generally use Digikey - they are based in the US and ship everywhere (for free if the order is >$X (A$60 in Australia)) - reasonable price too. I've also used Microchip directly with no problem (I just have them use my DHL account - life is easier if you have your own courier account)

Hey John - I live in Tasmania, Australia (Tassie is the 'little' island at the bottom - so I'm down under, down under as they say. In fact Tassie is about the same size as the island if Ireland!)

yes indeed, I've been to Tassie a few times, I was in Hobart in October time visiting friends, it was pretty windy and cold then. Even worse than Melbourne was

Tassie is a beautiful State. My brother lives there and has for many years.  Time I visited again.
There are quite a few of us Aussies on the forum.
