PIC http comms through SIMcon

Hi,
Embarking on a venture using AT commands to connect a PIC to a webserver using SIM800/900.
Has anyone done it successfully?
Two small clarifications... does 4G SIM's work properly in SIM800/900?
Is the RAM of a 18F24K22 sufficient to handle the http response string?
