Hi,
I'm designing a PCB with 80 optically isolated inputs. Using convention PC817 DIP package is making it too big. Any ideas about a really small smd package?
Thanks

Hi Shantanu-
You can get quad optocouplers in SOP, SSOP, or SOIC packages.  Do a search on Digi-Key.

Do all of the inputs have to be isolated from each other?  If not, you may be able to use a multi-channel digital isolator.

Great response as usual!! Sorry to be so late in replying.
Yes Rick I need complete isolation so separate optocouplers.
Thanks Gamboa and Oskar for the suggestions.
