My projects are usually based around the PIC18F26K22, a very capable chip.
But I notice the very similar PIC18F26Q10  is half the price at Farnell and RS.
Does anybody have and experiences with this chip  -  any problems ?

We have used in volume and did have some issues with the early errata parts having some problems with port bits and the Uart.  Once we had the latest parts its a good device and as stated its much cheaper.
the 27k42 is also a good device for the money offering a large amount of Ram and Flash.

For me, with USB 18F25K50 without USB 18F27K42

I built a product on the Pic18f48Q10 and found it very capable. That is once you figure out how to setup the ports and ADC ETC. It is not like the PIC18F26K22 and you will burn a lot of time getting it up and running.

Good luck finding stock though.

In case anyone is unaware, https://www.findchips.com/ is helpful in finding stockists for general components as well as chips.

I decided to stick with the 18F26K22, ordered a dozen from Digikey
