Website creation help!

I truly dislike to ask, but I need some help constructing my RosettaMicro.com website. I have absolutely no idea how to do it. :-)

I've tried and tried, but the interface simply confuses me because I do not understand what it wants or needs. I was a fool to not continue doing my original Rosetta web site when I wrote my first book, but I was so busy making another person money and a good reputation, I did not have the time to learn, yet something else!

I need it to look like a development site, with links to projects and the compiler etc... With images of the projects and a list of projects on the side panel that can be added too. Something similar to my google site, but that was ready made and I just had to fill in the pieces and add pages etc... And also a way of getting payments for the compilers and future projects using paypal. A site people want to investigate further into!

Any help would be very much appreciated, and my thanks would be beyond words.

I just basically said I want X then no I want y and Gabi did the work. He is a genius and extremely talented in so many areas.

The website is built on wordpress and while I have been to lazy to do much back end stuff it is actually not that bad.

The thing is between Gabi, you and some perhaps input by me we can build the site you want.

I have built a couple of websites in the past which included with online purchasing using PayPal.
I have some more up to date (but not as sophisticated) WYSIWYG software than what I using back then (10-12 years ago) but have not had a need to use it since I purchased it so that might slow me down a little as I will be learning it as I go.

I am using the namecheap web builder, but it has me confused. I have absolutely no idea where to start and my head is going around and around with things happening here and my constant activity trying to make a living and to move back home. :-(

If it's OK I will call you. The hard part is actually deciding on a style. I know I have been through it. Once you have a basic idea then I can produce any graphics and work with Gabi to get the fundamentals in place.

1 List what you want to achieve from the site, eg the goal of it.
2 Try and find a site you think looks ok. I use a plug in called Enfold https://preview.themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/full_screen_preview/4519990
3 List the main sections

You will need to be involved to give feedback. But I can take care of the minutia once I know what you are trying to achieve.
