Amicus18 GPS shields

Hi,
A while ago Lester was giving away a lot of old stuff and some were GPS shields. I recall on the old forum there is an issue with the data (time I think) and someone had a fix.
Does anyone have this fix or have I got to start from scratch. I only want to use it for the date/time instead of a clock module.
