Hi,
I am facing alarming levels of drift in HX711 load cell amplifier.
Have anyone faced this before?
Thanks.

Seems to be due to an ill configured precision voltage regulator circuit that comes built-in.
These devices seem to very cheap and very unreliable.
Thinking of using TI 20 bit sigma delta ADS1230 with a multiplexer like 4066/51 at the frontend to connect to multiple load cells.
Is switching load cells recommended?

I think that the cells should be joined in series. About those module it would be better if use an average reading.
I made a small test, see this (I hope it will be translate for you)
