Q40 pics

Just wondered it there's any chance of support for the Q40 series. Some nice devices there, like the 18F16Q40...

They will be part of the next upgrade. However, that will be in a few months because the amount of changes required for these devices is quite high. They do look like nice devices and I have a few of them here for tests. The main difference with the Q40 devices is the amount of RAM, but the peripheral types remain the same, so the current Q devices supported do the same tasks.

It's such a shame that the 8-bit devices do not have useful DAC peripherals.

That's good news! And yes, it's a shame, some odd peripheral selections.
And at the moment some of the newest parts are the only ones you can get!
