Hello

I have had several messages from people who have purchased the compilers asking when it will arrive by post to them.

As it states in the Ebay readable text, and the emails and messages I send to people who have purchased the compilers. The compilers are downloaded, and the URL in the email and message is the link to download them.

For the extremely low price of the compilers, I could not even consider packaging and international postage and CDROM etc, let alone the rip-off border taxes etc.. They would actually cost more than the compilers, and I get very little money off them already with the rip-off Ebay costs, and money taken off by Paypal!

So please, read the email or the message I send, and if purchasing off Ebay, read the explanation of the compilers, before sending emails or messages to me about not receiving a CDROM or DVD etc...

Heck... I don't even own a CDROM or DVD writer drive now, and I do not own any CDROM or DVD disks.

Les

What, no printed manual either?  ;D

The compilers are far too cheap Les, you should charge much more and live in comfort.

BTW, I just noticed that the Ebay item is now out of stock, 17 sold.

Unfortunately, that is 17 sold over the past 4 or 5 months or so. :-(

But, every penny helps.

If you were using the Mechanique IDE the issue of not displaying the correct version number at has been discussed many times, so search the forum for answers. However as you state you are using Positron Studio that should display the correct version in the About Box under Help.

Which version were you trying to update from? You cannot update directly from Proton to Positron by simply installing the latest corrections update, you have to purchase a copy of Positron from Les as there have been significant changes made between the two.

If you already have a Position installation file is will be called something like Positron Compilers Setup for [insert your Name] then try uninstalling all version of Positron and Proton you have and if you feel confident enough clear out the registry entries, reboot and then re-install.
If your installation package was purchased prior to the 4.0.4.0 paid upgrade then you will need purchase an upgrade (which will get you directly to the current version) for the future correction updates to work.

If you do not already have a Positron Installation package then you will need to Purchase a Copy of Positron from Les, again that will get you up to date to the latest version and then you should be able to future correction update to stay up to date.

Hi Stephen

thanks for the reply.

In the "Help, About" the correct version 4.0.5 build 1 is displayed.

Only the message box while compiling is stating the old version 3.7.5.4

Kind regards Sommi

Check that Positron Studio is correctly configured.

The [Tools] [General] tab should show the correct path and compiler program name.

In my case it is: C:\Program Files (x86)\ProtonIDE\PDS
