Quickblue, is it worth it.

Hi,
Ages ago when Lester was having a clearout and giving stuff away for the cost of postage I acquired a few Amicus Bluetooth boards and Quickblue modules which have the same module (EYMF2CAMM-XV) as the Amicus board.
I can only find the module datasheet but no details about how to actually control it at all. I just wondered if anyone had the required information and if they have are worth playing with.

I tried long time ago to find information on these modules. I found lesst han you, nothing and gave up.

Thanks for that, I actually found the zip file (I must have downloaded it way back when the forum was still live), I didn't have any code though.

They are not worth the effort Bob. Even when they were first bought by cr#w@h*#l all of those years ago, they were were cheap chinese crap, with a 'none standard' command set.

They do work as bluetooth class 2, but they are not very efficient, and their range was dreadful.

I created the board and the code, but I never actually liked them.

Hi Les,
I am having a bit of a tidy up / organise and I found them in a box. If I could not find the code etc I would just ditch them but as I now have something to play with later I will file the code etc for later.
I do have one use that they might be good for, I like POV displays but the issue is having to stop them to edit the message. With htis I should be able to do it in motion. I am sure there are better things to do it but I do not like wasting things if they work and it is only for a hobby project.
