Hi everyone,

Does anyone know how to switch the Proton (Positron) IDE to dark mode?

RGV250

Hi,
As far as I am aware the original IDE does not have a dark mode. If you are using Positron studio you should post here https://protoncompiler.com/index.php/board,92.0.html

Positron Studio -

Tools Options  Positron Studio Settings under General have a Scheme selection Light or Dark

HOWEVER !!!  BEWARE !!!

Dark mode should actually never be allowed in the IDE in case someone gets sleepy, divide by zero and cause a wormhole that could suck everyone into it.

I had always been curious what it would look like there. ;D

Me too.  Actually, it can hardly be worse than the hole we sit in here currently,
So I almost dare to say any change will be an improvement  ;D

Thanks for your answer, Bob, but I've been used to the PROTON IDE for well over 20 years. It works fine for me.      Thank you for letting me into your wonderful world Fanie, for a moment. I'll bring a flashlight next time.  ;D

Hi friend, you could use Visual Studio Code. With it you can change several modes; this is why I stopped using the original IDE. I hope it works for you. Regards.
