Low Voltage Comparator

I found a comparator that would be ideal for a product - NCS2220 from Onsemi.

H O W E V E R  :'(

It comes in a UDFN8 package and the size is 1,6mm x 1,6mm and that is not very user friendly ( what was Onsemi thinking ?  It's not the housing and pins that reduces to nanometrs...)
And they are quite expensive too.

Supply voltage is 0,85 - 6V and "No Phase Inversion with Overdriven Input Signals", which I suspect I experience with the LMV358.  The below 1V operation is ideal though.

Do any of you by chance know from your vast knowledge gathered over many, many, many years, of a low voltage opp amp / comparator that can still work say below or around 1,2V or even maybe 1,6V ?
