Low Voltage Comparator

I found a comparator that would be ideal for a product - NCS2220 from Onsemi.

H O W E V E R  :'(

It comes in a UDFN8 package and the size is 1,6mm x 1,6mm and that is not very user friendly ( what was Onsemi thinking ?  It's not the housing and pins that reduces to nanometrs...)
And they are quite expensive too.

Supply voltage is 0,85 - 6V and "No Phase Inversion with Overdriven Input Signals", which I suspect I experience with the LMV358.  The below 1V operation is ideal though.

THE Q U E S T I O N... :o

Do any of you by chance know from your vast knowledge gathered over many, many, many years, of a low voltage opp amp / comparator that can still work say below or around 1,2V or even maybe 1,6V ?

I usually check Mouser or DigiKey, using their search filters:

Fanie,
I had used MCP6001/MCP6002 rail-to-rail op amps in the past. Very cheap & reliable.
Ophttps://www.microchip.com/en-us/product/mcp6002erating voltage 1.2 to 5.5V

I have ordered them as well.  I think previously they were either not available or too expensive as a result of the covid fiasco.  I fortunately had the foresight then so the board can also accept both versions of the MCP6001UT / T.

I actually did search the NCS2220 on Mouser, and only found the miniature version.
I clicked your link and found this -

There is one variation of the project where the very low minimum voltage is going to be perfect.  It's a rather expensive variation so I'm putting it on the hind teat for now.  Thanks !
PS.  Same housing and connections as the microchip opp amps
