One more addition if you will forgive me.  Most solutions is a matter of looking for them.

One have to find motivators to keep you up and going.
When I was in that hell-hole hospital the wife and a few friends were coming to visit.  I waited for them at the entrance and the first to come through the door was a very nice looking chick with tight shorts and long legs and all the other right ingredients to make a race horse want to run.  That was when I realized it is not my time yet.  Sadly though, she did not notice old me.

Sometimes one just have to stop and smell the roses ok.  Take a break and switch off.  Sleep late one day in the week.  Take a weekend day off and do something completely different.  Be nice to someone, or help someone getting something done.  Be a little bit less serious and apply some humour.  It helps the sun rise the next day.

Have to mention this.  My son is 38 now and considers me old.  He was very surprised that his old man is screeching around on one of he fastest bikes on the road, and yes, I still have it.  Keeps the blood circulation going and the adrenaline pumping.  Only thing I dislike is that more guys are paying attention to me now than the girls  :(

If you experience heart problems, you can resuscitate yourself to some extent by coughing and sneezing.
