Can anybody please tell me how is one supposed to get an external USB from a device connected ?
HDMI goes to HDMI
One micro USB each connects to power
Remaining USB's so the micro communicates with the display.

How do you get an external USB signal into this retarded setup ?

It seems available here https://www.robotics.org.za/W12694?search=raspberry%20pi&page=3  No stock though.
And not too expensive either.
They claim it works with the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W which is the one I have.  We'll see when I get the hub.

This is becoming a huge thing I thought was going to be simple to do 
And all this wiring, or should I say cables, good grief.

I have a monocular with USB C output that I want displayed on an LCD display.
