An Alternative to the PICKit+ Microchip PICKit clone

After reading Les comments on the PICKit UI and his suggestion that I write a front end to the PICKit+ command Line program  I have spoken with Evan about alternative UIs for PICKIT+. He has an alternative UI, PKEasy, which he could offer which doesn't look like the Microchip app and users might find it preferable.

At present it doesn't support passing device and hex file in the command line but this could be added if there is sufficient interest here.

Anyone with an existing PICKit Plus license could update their license to include PKEasy for a nominal charge. Anyone interested in the above option please reply to this thread and I will pass the info on to Evan.  I have no plans to develop a front end to the PICKit+ command line app myself because any implementation would be incomplete as I believe would lead to a poorer user experience.
