help with proton compile error

Updates or non updates on Windows 10, I never had a single issue with Positron running on Windows 10!

That is very good news! 
 
I have been using W7 for about 4 years and it has been well behaved (almost as well as XP).  I do a full W7 reboot about once each month just to "clean up" any junk...  But it has been quite stable...

But I am moving, with some reluctance, to W10.   
It may be the "teaching an old dog the new O.S. thing ".

Positron does compile very well on my W10 machine!  I am also hoping that programs like KiCad will "enjoy" the additional memory.
