Ladder logic compiler

There are millions of engineers all around the world who regularly program PLC's but have never worked with microcontrollers. I've seen some ladder-to-hex PIC compilers but they are of no use.

Interesting device, I have seen Raspberry Pi versions and they all come with an industrial price. It does not mention which software it will use but I would guess it will be CodeSys. That has ladder logic but is quite clunky compared with others I have used but the and the function block diagram is nice, it also has structured text for more complex tasks. Codesys itself is free but you need a licence to run it on the Raspberry Pi which all adds up.

I had last used Raspberry Pi 3B+ where you had to load Raspbian in the SD card. The 4B looks much better with eMMC flash.
The link I posted had a STM32 core. I am trying to delve into the STM family. These seem to be amazing devices with documentation as good as Microchip
