Sticky Splash screen

When I fire up Positron IDE, the splash screen stays in view. Close it down and restarts nad sometimes it's OK, other times the same thing, stuck.

Any suggestions please anyone?

Are you talking about the original IDE or Positron studio, the reason I ask is I use the original one most of the time and it does not have one that I have seen.

Sounds like Studio.

I have not seen this behaviour but always have hide splash screen.
Unless you really want the splash screen I suggest you go to Tools, General and check "Hide Splash Screen On Start-up"

What seems to bring it up, is when you double click on a .bas file and use the program to open it.

If you simply open the program and THEN open a file, it is OK, though as you say, turn off the splash screen and all is good.
